5 things that bring me joy this week

Check the entire “5 things that bring me joy this week” weekly series here, a collection of seemingly insignificant things that serve as a reminder to appreciate the little things — those small joys that make a difference in our day-to-day.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been slow at getting into the grove of things this new year; my head is swimming from so much going on that focusing has been no easy task. Nonetheless, life and deadlines don’t wait…

Hence, moving on with this year’s second installment of my weekly series highlighting 5 things that bring me joy. And yes, though officially not on the list, my leather basket bag and my Sarah Flint Natalie slings (save 15% with code SARAHFLINT-CCMARIN3) still bring me a lot of joy 😊.

But let’s get to the “official list”:

  • visiting a museum and discovering other places in the process. I’ve been wanting to visit the Tampa Museum of Art since last year but never got around to it until this past weekend. While there are several exhibitions going on now, my favorite, of course, was Poetry in Paint: The Artists of Old Tampa Bay — the beautiful paintings just brought joy.

  • venturing into the city by walking, and the resulting over 14K steps from it. Looking for a specific event in Saint Petersburg, we parked ways away to ensure that we don’t get stuck in the bustle of it, and it was nice seeing a [new to us] part of the city on foot. We spotted so many of the murals from the SHINE® Mural Festival during our walk.

  • my new cherry blossom freshwater pearl earrings seen here. They appear to be sold out, but if you’re interested in something similar, check these and these.

  • the absolutely gorgeous weather we’ve been having. I know I mention this a lot, but, truly, there is no better weather than a Florida winter (except when we get abnormally cold days, with more heading our way this weekend). How can it not bring joy?

  • enough of my favorite coffee to last me a while. I was so happy to find it in multiple packs and on sale!

What’s bringing YOU joy this week?

xo,

Em
