5 things that bring me joy this week

I hope this photo I captured brings you joy!

Check the entire “5 things that bring me joy this week” weekly series here, a collection of seemingly insignificant things that serve as a reminder to appreciate the little things — those small joys that make a difference in our day-to-day.

Not much has happened this past week around here as we’ve been taking it easy and taking care of life and work things. In spite of everything happening, I’ve been feeling a bit more joyous lately, part of which could be attributed to the nicer weather. It’s been feeling like actual spring here and there, and well, it makes a difference, I noticed.

Here are 5 things that bring me joy this week:

  • low humidity weather! I haven’t experienced such a thing, especially this time of year in Florida, so to say that I’m loving it, would be an understatement — it brings so much joy as I’m never ready for the typical high humidity here. Seriously though, isn’t it incredible the “power” the weather has on us?

  • the intense bird songs happening every morning just outside our windows. It starts at 6:40am every morning but I don’t mind one bit being awoken this way. Some birds would even land on our balcony and have a symphony and… wow, the joy I feel listening to them!

  • this dress I’m so very eager to receive. I’m still on a high from this Dalia MacPhee blue and white dress and when I saw this one, I couldn’t stop thinking about it so I had to have it. I’m glad I ordered it quickly as my size is already gone! Is yours still available? Crazy how much joy a new dress can bring…

  • the good news that my Sarah Flint discount code SARAHFLINT-BABLOOMINGMAGNOLIAS is now for $60 off your 1st purchase. Plus, you can now get up to 60% off select styles in addition to the $60 off! Don’t forget to take advantage of this and use my code or shop via this link for the code to be added automatically at checkout.

  • expanding my balcony garden. I just planted a bunch of flower seeds and I can’t wait to see the results — fingers crossed they sprout and thrive.

What’s bringing YOU joy this week?

xo,

Em
