A dress for all occasions
If you’re like me and describe your style as easy (or effortless), it doesn’t get any easier than with this dress since it does all the talking work. I actually think this dress looks best minimally styled — some earrings, a nice bracelet (delicate or chunky), and a nice pair of shoes with a [clutch] bag, and you’re ready for anything. Yes, it’s that easy…
I chose to wear it with white accessories (the shoes and bag were local finds), a gold and leather bracelet I bought in Florence, Italy, and these adorable bow pearl earrings.
I’ve liked this dress from the moment I saw it, but given my pear-shaped body type, I figured I’d better avoid it. Until I stumbled upon an irresistible sale and decided to give it a try. The rest is history…
This is a stunning dress and I’m honestly quite surprised it’s still in stock. I initially bought it in black and snow day (cream) and liked it so much, that I ended up getting it in emerald dream (green) as well. So, yeah, I bought this dress in all colors available, and I did that specifically because it can be worn for any occasion (and because the price was too good not to). And yes, it can also be worn at the office with a blazer, jacket, or cardigan. Also, it can easily be dressed up or down, while still looking chic — the neckline is so flattering and classy! Overall, this is one elegant spring dress!
Speaking of occasions, how great would the green version be for a spring wedding?
As far as sizing, the fabric has a bit of stretch and overall, I’d say it fits true to size, but I recommend sizing up if you’d like a bit more room or have a larger chest. As I am in between sizes right now, I went up, and it fits perfectly.
The fabric is a blend of linen, cotton, and a bit of spandex. I wouldn’t describe the material as soft, but it isn’t thin while still breathable. The dress is fully lined.
I hope these photos convince you to give this dress a chance 😉.
