A pop of red

Yes, I love my blue and white almost obsessively, but I also love red.

There's no denying that red is a powerful color. Apart from it standing out the most in any crowd, it also gives you a sense of self-awareness, and I believe that confidence is key when wearing red.

To feel confident when wearing this color, I go for styles and cuts that suit my body the best. For my pear-shaped body, apart from the universally-flattering A-line dresses, I prefer bell-shaped dresses with a fitted bodice. This cut looks super feminine, creating an illusion of a small waist in contrast with the fuller skirt, making it a timeless style overall.
Other favorite shapes of mine are the skater and princess cut dresses, which I also think are flattering for the majority, if not all body types.

This dress I'm wearing (H&M) has been in my closet for a few years now, and every time I wear it, I feel gorgeous in it. It's unique with its halter-like neckline and ruffle details, but what makes it even more special for me is the length, which adds to its elegance. I have a few red dresses, but this is my favorite LRD. To complete this elegant look, I paired it with two-tone pumps (more here and here), black cat-eye sunglasses, statement earrings (more here and here), and the must-have red matte lipstick.

And since I mentioned it... We all heard about the LBD, the "little black dress", as well as the LWD, the "little white dress" and the LRD "little red dress". These are presented as staples in any woman's wardrobe. I'm not introducing any new concept here, I know. I do, however, stand behind this concept fully. With the holiday season ahead of us, you need the go-to style, so that the only thing you have to worry about is having fun. That's why I put together a few dresses that I hope will inspire you to add red to your holiday style.

No matter what dress and color you choose, wear it in comfort and with confidence.
