A romantic Valentine's look
Valentine's day is just around the corner but we're pretty low-key about it. We don't have any plans other than going out for a nice dinner by the ocean. To be honest, we don't pay too much attention to Valentine's day - me and my hubby try to show our love and appreciation for one another every day so this holiday is not that much more special.
However, I will never miss an occasion to dress up so I took advantage of this day and the amazingly warm weather we've been experiencing here the last few weeks. I decided to switch it up from the usual dress and instead, wear a skirt. And what is more festive and romantic than a tulle skirt?

I have had this tulle skirt (similar here and here) for a while now but never dared to wear it until now, thinking that it is too dressy. Even on this day, I almost changed into something else but hubby convinced me to wear it.
In honor of the day of love, I thought of adding the classic red by going with this silky blouse (similar here, here and here) and completed the look with my most-worn flats these days (similar here, here and here), because comfort is key. I tried to keep it minimal and the only jewelry I added was pearl earrings - I love everything pearls but I think they are not your everyday kind of jewelry. What do you think?
Do you like this look? Would you recreate it?
Whether you celebrate Valentine's Day or not, I wish you a happy one, nonetheless.
Until next time.
XOXO
