A touch of autumn hues home decor

With each season, I like to add a bit of specific home decor touches, though, I like to do that in a way that doesn’t overwhelm or take over my home, and its overall design theme.

Fall is a colorful season with vibrant tones, which, when brought inside, can be overpowering, if not done carefully. For that reason, I generally like to stick to natural and more earthy tones; for example, I like to introduce a pumpkin here and there, and I generally go for the white or blue-ish ones, because they easily fit into my decor, and don’t stick out too much. I shared more details about how I approach fall decorating in this post, and linked there as well a few home decor items that caught my eyes.

1 - Faux Fur Spotted Snow Leopard Throw Blanket // 2 - Blue Distressed Rug Print Throw Pillow // 3 - Reactive Glaze Soy Wax Scented Candle // 4 - Multicolored Vintage Rug Print Bolster Pillow // 5 - Amber and Ivory Windowpane Throw Blanket // 5a - Red and Ivory Windowpane Throw Blanket // 6 - White And Natural Speckle Ceramic Pillar Candleholder // 7 - Faux Pampas Grass Stem // 8 - Dried Terracotta Flax Bunch // 9 - White And Natural Ceramic Two-Tone Jug Vase // 10 - Whitewashed Wood Ribbed Pillar Candleholder

What is your decorating style when it comes to fall? Do you go full color, or stick to more subtle tones?

Ideal fall colors, captured in the Adirondacks region.

Until next time.
