Boost your confidence this Valentines Day

Valentine's day is just around the corner and whether you celebrate this day or not, I wanted to share a few things with you that, I believe will help you boost your confidence.
No matter if you're single or "taken", paying a little attention to a few details in your wardrobe and life, can change the way you feel on a daily basis.
We become so complacent in our lives and forget or put aside little things that we consider not important but have a big impact. Underwear is one of those things, in my opinion.
I recently read the book "Lessons from Madame Chic: 20 Stylish Secrets I learned while living in Paris" by Jennifer L. Scott, as well as other books about French women (yes, like everyone else, I am obsessed with them), and I was taken aback by their sexiness and zero guilt about it.
In all the books I read, I have noticed that French women put a big emphasis on lingerie. I can't say that I'm shocked at this "discovery", especially since I found over and over how different wearing nice lingerie makes me feel. Incorporating lace in my daily routine gave me that boost of confidence that I needed, especially on those days when I felt far from "beautiful" or sexy. So I made it a habit.
No matter if hubby gets to see it or not, I feel more confident knowing I have something sexy underneath - it's my little secret. And wait till that "secret" is discovered *wink*.
So, since I created this blog as a way to inspire you, I wanted to urge you to do things that make you feel more beautiful - to allow yourself the little luxury here and there.
Don't wait for a special occasion or night out or whatever else - put some lace on, wear nice lingerie on any given day, be it if you wear it to sleep (like these pajamas here and here), or a night out (this set, sold separately here and here). Make a vow to yourself starting this Valentine's day, no, today, to become more confident, one little lacy piece at a time.
There are so many options out there and if you really don't like matching your underwear, or can't find the perfect set, try using pieces that compliment each other and try sticking to the same color. Dare put on a sexy bodysuit (like this one here or here) underneath that dress and see for yourself how that makes you feel.
Wishing you a wonderful Valentine's day, no matter what your plans are and remember to always love yourself first.
In hope that I managed to inspire you a bit with this post.
XOXO,
Em
