Fall/winter knit dresses

True to my love for dresses, I never give up on wearing them, even during cold weather. The only difference is in the dresses I wear during those times.

Just like I find that wearing a dress in the summer or warm weather is the easiest way for me to look effortlessly put together, the same goes for the cold days.

When it comes to getting ready in the fall and winter, there’s nothing easier than putting on a knit dress, and if needed, tights, and going about your day, while still being comfortable and warm. This especially applies to workwear, and it used to be my regular outfit for working in the office.

For that reason, I wanted to share a few styles to wear during this cold season. These knit dresses linked here are highly reviewed, and look great overall; the sleeveless ones can be worn with a blazer (see this one for a more formal or classic one), or a sweater-blazer to make them work-appropriate and/or give your look a touch of chic.

As far as tights, I really like these opaque ones and I’m hoping they will bring them back; these ones are great too, though they’re 40 denier, so a tad sheerer than what I like to wear in winter.

To elongate the leg, I like to wear a knit or sweater dress with black tights and black booties (I really like these ones and these ones), though knee-high boots (you may also like these ones) work great as well.

What’s your go-to outfit for cold weather?

Until next time.

xoxo,

Em
