Help... I'm obsessed with Hask Hair
I have a problem and if the photo above doesn't speak about that than I don't know what does. But before you start thinking I'm crazy, let me explain.
First, it is necessary for me to mention that this post was born from the love I have for this brand and the fact that I want to share the good stuff I find with you.
I have had a long, tough at times, journey with my hair. I still have a love-hate sort of relationship with it.
I had it long (around my waist) years and years ago before I cut it. Yes, I was sorry and yes, sometimes, I miss it.
The main reason I decided to cut my hair though was the split-ends. No matter what I was doing (cut it, condition it, apply treatments), the split-ends kept re-appearing, and let me tell you - nothing is more unsightly when it comes to hair than split-ends. And forget about growing it out.

I tried several times that and I had to give up. It just doesn't seem to work for my thin, frizzy hair.
The truth is I wash it daily. I tried not to, and I simply could not stand my hair the day after. You see, I like it smelling and looking fresh and I am "lucky" to have oily hair. Yes, I know they say that the more you wash it, the oilier it gets. It may be true but I've been washing my hair daily for years now. If I overlook the fact that it ends up in a complete tangled mess, it's been working fine.
I have tried brands and brands of shampoo and hair care products and I still do, but I have found the one that I must constantly have in my shower.
I came across it a few years ago when oils were all the craze in hair care. To say that I was skeptical is an understatement. But I wanted to try them. I have bought a different brand that left my hair an oily mess and I almost gave up but then I heard about the liquid gold - Argan oil and once again I was looking to give hair oils another chance. I found a very affordable Argan-infused one at Ulta and told myself I have nothing to lose if I try it. That's how it all started.
I followed the instructions and put it on my hair after I washed it. It smelled faintly like fresh oranges and de-tangled my hair in seconds so I immediately liked it. The test was if it was going to leave my hair oily the next day. To my surprise it did not so I continued using it - I became obsessed.
I found the entire HASK Argan oil line (shampoo, conditioner and deep conditioner) and bought and used them all. I started noticing improvements. It became shinier, broke less, was more hydrated and yes, the split-ends were yet to show up (it had been cut recently). I was happy so I moved on to trying other products of the same brand. Long story short, the first photo in this post shoes where I am today.
And what really sold me on this brand's products was the fact that they are free of sulfates, parabens, drying alcohols, phthalates, and gluten - I think we all need to be more conscious of what we put not only in our body but also on it.
I have yet to try ALL of HASK products (they keep expanding their lines of products and I love it) but so far I have tried and loved their Keratin, Macadamia Oil (smells heavenly), Bamboo Oil, Almond Oil (seriously, the thickening spray made wonders to my hair's appearance), Charcoal (you need this one in your life), Coconut Oil (smells coconut-yummy) and Superfruit.
Up until I enlisted these here, I did not realize I have tried so many of Hask Hair products BUT there is a reason I keep using them and go back over and over again. Their products are super affordable and they really work - if you don't believe me, check their online reviews.
Have you ever tried this brand? If you have, what did you think?
Till next time.
XOXO,
Em
