Pre-fall dresses and how to wear them

I’ll keep rocking this Amazon dress for the rest of the year — I really love it!

One thing is clear year after year — the blogging world loves fall. From the foliage chase occurring yearly, to the cozy sweaters and layers being featured, this season has a lot going on. Yes, fall certainly has its appeal, and it is somewhat magical, however, I remain a fan of warm weather. Basically, I love autumn up to the point where it gets dark, grey, wet, and muddy. Not that as living in Florida, there are chances of that happening — we normally have summer temperatures (I’m talking 90+) well into October.

If you are feeling even the slightest change in the air, indicating that fall is coming, well, first of all, I’m jealous, and second, you’re probably starting to think about adjusting your wardrobe to reflect the changing seasons.

And even if you’re still enjoying summer temperatures, you can incorporate fall fashion into your outfits by choosing “moody” colors — darker florals, animal prints, etc., though don’t be afraid to rock bright colors — this Dalia MacPhee dress is autumn perfection!

I know you may be eager to pull out your sweaters and boots from the depths of your closet and start flaunting them asap, but don’t force it. Keep wearing your dresses, because, in a few months, you’ll be over wearing layers from head to toe.

I’ve linked below a selection of dresses perfect for this time of year, as well as fall. If you need to add something warm, wear them with this sweater blazer or a cool blazer like this one for an effortlessly chic look. As the weather permits, style them with the famous Sarah Flint Natalie flats that Meghan Markle loves (read on for a $60 savings code).

Once the weather gets cooler, keep warm by wearing a perfect bootie (so many to choose from, and you can save $60 on your 1st purchase with code SARAHFLINT-BABLOOMINGMAGNOLIAS or by shopping via this link that adds the code automatically to checkout).
