If there’s one piece of clothing (apart from dresses), that I truly love and must have several of, it’s a cardigan.

Long, short, light, warm, and preferably, in several colorways, I just really like my cardigans, and have acquired a few over the years.

For chilly mornings, evenings, or even days, a cardigan is the answer - I love how they make layering uncomplicated, and of course, that they are easy to put on or take off as needed.

Cardigan sweaters are great pieces to wear over dresses, with skirts, pants, and jeans, for casual outfits, and occasion ones - crop cardigans (or borero-like) look great over formal dresses. I most often wore one at work, over sleeveless blouses, to cover up my shoulders, as well as to stay warm in those freezing offices (I don’t like being cold).

And now, with the fall season upon us, it’s the best time to buy them, as there are a lot of options out there. I most frequently purchase my cardigans from H&M, though, if I find one I like, the brand is of no importance to me. In fact, the cardigan I’m wearing in the photos below was found at Walmart a few years ago, and I have worn it a lot, on our trip to Europe (seen here in Glasgow, Scotland) - it’s held up great. Sadly, it’s no longer available, though this one, this one, and this one are very similar.

Are you into cardigans as much as I am?
