I think we all become a bit more cheerful in spring, especially after the dark winter days. Even during these difficult times, spring represents revival and joy. I’ve said it before, but spring is my favorite season, and even though it was short-lived when we were in California, and is just as short in Florida, it still has its own charm as nature renews itself. As we speak, here in Florida trees and shrubs are blooming and renewing their leaves, and, honestly, I’m loving it!

As we begin removing the layers we wear in winter, we reach for more colorful or pastel-colored clothes, setting aside many of the darker ones we wear in winter. And, of course, we continue to reach for the floral prints that are a favorite year after year.

If you’re looking for an easy way to update or refresh your style this spring, do so by adding cute tops (think blouses and shirts) that feel and look airy (boho-style or smocked), to allow for comfort and ease of movement, regardless of how your day’s activities look. After all, the easiest way to put together a chic outfit is by wearing a nice pair of jeans or pants with a cute top and flats (or the shoes of your choice) - this combination never fails!

If you’re not shopping these days, I always recommend turning to your closet - I’m sure there are some cute tops hiding in there, that, especially if not worn in a while, will feel like new again.
