Flowy dresses for summer comfort
This summer has been keeping us all on our toes with these heat waves taking over a good part of the world. We have been lucky to have a break from our intense #europeanadventure (follow me on Instagram stories where I share what we've been busying ourselves with during this break) and so, were able to avoid the heat for the most part. But on the days when "hiding" from the heat is not an option, I, like everyone else think of what to wear so I look good but also, feel comfortable.
This is where flowy dresses come in.
I love wearing dresses, that you might easily tell. I also like to look and feel feminine. And even though I love all dresses, the truth is that I feel a lot more comfortable in midi or a maxi dress. In fact, I consider midi dresses to be the image of feminine style: there is something about this length that instantly makes you look more elegant and "put-together".
I bought this "Who What Wear" dress again on one of those "Target runs". I found it in XS, tried it on, fell in love (hello, blue and white stripes) and the rest is history. After washing and ironing it (yes, I do that), I packed it for our Europe trip. I have since worn it several times (and washed it), and am very impressed with the quality.
This time, I wore this dress simply with espadrilles (old, similar here and here) and its tie-belt, but, the good news is that the tie-belt can be removed and replaced with a belt like this or these for a different look. If you also bought this dress, you can either wear the dress with heels (and these or these) or sandals (also these) for a night out or a more elegant look. Or just wear it with my all-time favorite espadrilles.
My exact sunglasses are temporarily out of stock but they are available in black. They have been my favorite this summer and are super affordable. I also love this style and this one.
The backpack I'm wearing has also been a favorite this summer, especially for traveling. It's made of vegan leather and is super roomy, cute, and most importantly, very affordable.
Ever since I discovered the Who What Wear brand, I have become a fan (#notsponsored). I find a lot of their clothes to be of good quality at a good, affordable price. I’m actually glad I’m overseas this summer and I get to save my money and space in my wardrobe since, from what I see online, I would have bought many other of their dresses - they're so pretty. Do you like this brand?

Until next time.
