High-low maxi dress

Truth is, I'm not and never will be a casual kind of girl. Yoga pants, sweatshirts, sweatpants or sportswear are not my thing. Sure, they're comfortable and warm for those freezing winter days, but you won't find me wearing them outside my home - no, not even if I have to run to the grocery store.

For as long as I remember, I have been drawn to dresses and all the feminine details like lace, ruffles, full skirts and so on. Looking at my blog and Instagram, I think you can get a clear image of what my style is. In fact, this blog was created to share my true style as an inspiration for you to develop your own. But please know that you won't find me wearing or using something I don't like.

That brings me to this dress that I saw a while ago at Target. I was trying to be a good girl and cut my spending so I ignored it. A few weeks later, I was able to finally cross one big "to-do" off my list and I felt like congratulating myself - you guessed it - by getting another dress (us women, huh?).

I don't have to tell you that I love this dress - I'm sure you probably can tell from the photos. I love how pretty and comfortable it is, and let's not forget dressy. And no, I had no problem wearing it out and about, before we headed to dinner.

There comes a time when you simply become comfortable in your own skin and accept who you are without being apologetic about it. I love dresses, I love wearing them and that's that. I encourage you to do the same - find your style and embrace it, without giving the time of day to others' opinions or questioning glances your way.

If you like this dress as much as I do, I find it runs big (but that's what I noticed when it comes to the "Who What Wear" dresses), however, keep in mind that this fabric has no stretch to it.
