One foggy day on the beach
It started as another hot, sunny day in SoCal so we planned to have a photo shoot on the beach. I was imagining these sunset photos, where the sun perfectly aligns with the pier. So, thinking that we have the whole day ahead of us, we took our time enjoying breakfast, watching my favorite TV channel ever - HGTV (anyone else like me out there?), when I looked out the window.
In the far distance, I could see some fog rolling in. I didn't think anything of it at first, but when I saw it getting closer, we ran outside, towards the beach to catch some photos, before everything was swallowed by it.
Well, after a few minutes, the surrounding areas became barely visible, so we ended up walking into it and let me tell you - that was pretty cool.
While I was busy trying to take that perfect shot, hubby was busy taking shots of me, and I definitely like the end result. Once we realized the fog was going nowhere, we decided to return to the hotel, and I'm glad we did.
The picture below is one of those that you don't get to see too often, and it seems like part of some movie, proving for the umpty-umpth time that nature is the greatest artist of all.
Do you like foggy days?
XOXO,
Em
