Summer's not gone yet

Do you follow rules? And by rules I mean, do you wear white after Labor Day? Well, I clearly don't follow this so-called fashion rule and I wear whatever I want, whenever I feel like it.

Anyway, living in So Cal means that we don't get to experience fall the way everyone else is. Truth is, fall doesn't come here until late November usually. Summer is still in full swing here and the heat has hit us once again. Whenever that happens, we naturally seek that ocean air and breeze. It's just one of the perks of living here.

A white dress on (old from Old Navy), white sandals, a turquoise bag (to match the water), and, of course, my hat and we were headed to the ocean. And look where we ended up. These views made me think I was someplace very exotic.
This right here is just breathtaking.
The mixture of succulents, the sand, and the ocean backdrop is what's making it so attractive to me, but hearing the waves crashing into the rocks down on the beach is the best part. Well, I can't omit the nice, cool breeze on that hot day - thank you Nature!

Here's what you see when you look down from the cliffs... It almost makes me want to dive in, not that I'd survive with my swimming skills...

So this place is actually a meditation garden in Encinitas, California, a city I absolutely love. If you are in SoCal or plan to visit SoCal, put it on your list and you'll see for yourself what I'm talking about.
Gardens are some other happy places of mine, so expect me to get lost in them and take hundreds of pictures... I mean, do you blame me?

Are you sorry to see summer go?

Until next time.
