The beauty products I purchased immediately after our Europe trip
When we were overseas, I was experiencing a bit of a FOMO over the beauty and care products I was religiously using prior to our trip, and even the new releases.
Due to luggage restrictions, and let's be honest, travel budget, I maintained a strict routine in terms of beauty and care, using only the products I brought with me, and buying only what we were running out of.

My non-travel beauty and care regimen includes a lot more products, and I'm normally testing several ones to find what works best, a luxury I could not have while traveling. I was missing some of my favorites and I kept seeing new releases that I could not wait to try once we returned home. Read below what were the products I purchased immediately after we came back.
I have been a loyal customer of Hask Hair ever since I discovered them a few years ago (I wish the brand would notice that), and they have been keeping me happy with a wide range of products created with ingredients that have bettered my hair.
I was definitely missing my favorite dry shampoo, as well as the Charcoal Clarifying one on those hot and humid days in Europe, or the dry texturizing spray with sea salt on days when my hair was falling flat. Of course, they were the first products I bought once home.
While overseas, I saw that they released a champagne-inspired detangling spray (God knows I need it), and a champagne-inspired highlighter finishing cream that I couldn't wait to try. Needless to say, I bought these as soon as I could get my hands on them.
These products did not disappoint. The champagne inspired detangling spray works like a charm, leaving my hair soft and manageable.
The champagne inspired highlighter cream is pure glam for my hair. It has tiny shimmery particles that are left on the hair (and hairbrush, if I'm to be transparent) after applying, giving it a very beautiful shine, without making it greasy or feel heavy. Definitely good buys that I recommend.
Now we all know how good tea tree oil is for your skin (it's antibacterial and helps clear blemishes), so I was excited to try their new tea tree oil and rosemary shampoo. It feels exactly as the brand describes it: invigorating and it's definitely cooling. I would even venture and say that it could help with headaches as it has a very relaxing effect overall. Basically, this shampoo is like a cool breeze on your hair, which helped clean well and it didn't dry my hair. The only down for me is the smell - while definitely not unpleasant, it's a bit more "masculine" than I'd like -- it doesn't last long though so don't let that deter you from trying it.
Another brand I have become loyal to is It Haircare.
I have brought with me to Europe one of their hair serums that worked great for detangling my hair and keeping it healthy, but I was missing their styling products like this hair spray and this one, as well as their 12-in-one leave-in treatments, my favorite treatments being the argan oil and the keratin enriched one. I spray or apply a small amount to my towel-dried hair and let it air dry - I don't blow dry my hair any longer. These treatments leave my hair shiny, give it volume, and don't make it greasy, which is super important to me.
My hair used to be frail, dry, and unhealthy overall, I assume, due to blow-drying. I have not experienced split ends in years since using these and my Hask Hair products and my hair has never been happier.
Lastly, I really missed the Raw Sugar body wash while overseas. The body wash was one of the first products we ran out of while traveling and even though we bought a natural and organic body wash in Europe, they left my skin dry. I was so happy to get back to using Raw Sugar, and yes, my favorite scent is Lemon Sugar. My skin is back to its happy self as it feels clean and hydrated after using it.
Apart from it being free of nasties, what I love about using Raw Sugar is that for every purchased product, they donate a bar of soap to a family in need. I highly recommend this brand and I encourage you to use their products: do good for yourself as well as others.
What products do you purchase over and over?
Until next time.
XOXO,
Em
