Dark floral and lace for fall

Just because fall is here (more or less), it doesn't mean that we have to layer up. Thankfully, it's been pretty nice and warm and that has allowed a slower transition into the colder days, whenever those decide to come.
I have to be honest, I have a hard time dressing up once the temperatures drop. Living in SoCal, there's not much of a need for warmer clothes and so my fall/winter wardrobe is somewhat limited. However, because of milder weather here, we can take our summer clothes into any season.

There really is no fall here until late November, but when the rest of the country is embracing it early on, we here have to adjust.

I'd wear my white dresses, skirts, and pants any day, in spite of all the looks I get from strangers, but sometimes one needs variety.

I have stated many times that I love anything floral and I'm happy to see that this trend doesn't seem to be going anywhere. I do like, however, that it includes colors more appropriate for the fall/winter as well, like this slip dress I'm wearing.
I have to say, I try to stay away from slip dresses - I do love how sexy they look but they can show too much. Not this dress.
I have bought it a while ago, but I didn't get a chance to wear it until now. I love the darker florals for fall, and the delicate lace details add a bit of sexiness, making it perfect for date night or whatever occasion comes your way.
I found the exact dress here in a small size but I also found this similar one while browsing in more sizes and this one. If floral is not exactly your cup of tea, see this black one or this one in "ivy green".
The sandals are from Chinese Laundry and I found similar ones here and here.
Oh, and if you do need to layer up, I see this dress looking great with a biker jacket like this one here or here - our choice ;).

Have you transitioned your wardrobe to fall already?
