Fall florals

Yes, the animal prints have made a huge comeback this year, and they are especially popular this fall season but I still love my florals. I firmly believe florals will never go out of style. Since animal prints are usually quite bold, florals are a more subtle (or not if you go big), print that can be worn during any season.
To transition my style into fall, I choose florals in colors like cream, light browns, rust/burnt orange.

I have talked several times about my love for midi dresses and skirts and how feminine they look. I'm keeping this trend of mine going with this midi skirt (similar here, here, here or here) perfect for warm fall days.

Usually, when I wear a piece of clothing with a busier print, I try to keep the rest of my outfit simple by, most often, wearing a white tee, a neutral bag, and simple shoes. I chose for this outfit a basic white tee (or this one), my favorite pointy espadrilles, a vintage necklace (similar here), my tan backpack that I have been carrying with me throughout Europe, and a bow hat. I did change into my golden flats at some point since walking on these rocks was no easy job.

For a more elegant look or a night out, I would pair this midi skirt with a lace camisole, or this scalloped top, a cream t-shirt, or a shirt for a cooler night.

With these simple pieces, you can create this fall-ish look that's elegant and comfortable at the same time. Style doesn't have to be complicated - wear what you like and are comfortable in and keep it simple.

How are you transitioning your style into fall?
