I’m having a… style crisis
Give me this shirt dress in a more “tamed” color.
I have to admit — I’ve been getting bored with many fashion trends out there lately. Don’t get me wrong — I LOVE so many of the things I see but somehow I’m over them. Not sure if this is a fleeting thing or something that is here to stay, but I think I’m having a style crisis.
I still very much prefer a feminine style (just please don’t give me anything too girly), and I still love color (including the shirt dress I’m wearing in the photo above), but I’ve been so much more drawn to classic pieces lately. This would explain my obsession with pearls I’ve been having…
Spring is a time of change for me, and I guess I have been craving that — change. In my style, my hair, or how I look in general. While I try to take care of myself, I know I can do a better job — for example, with doing my nails. I deeply dislike chipped nail polish, and as it doesn’t last long for me, I just skip it. But I have to remind myself how much better I feel when I have my nails done and put in the effort. It would be a change…
Anyway, back to my style crisis… I have been attracted to clean lines and neutrals lately. However, I know for a fact that I’d pretty quickly get bored seeing them in my closet. Clean lines and especially neutrals don’t inspire me, that’s the bare truth. Fit and flare styles will forever be my favorite! Or, to be more specific, think of Audrey Hepburn's style — that’s what I aspire to.
My solution for the moment is to look for a few of them to wear when I’m having these “moments” and take it from there. To demonstrate, I’m really loving this style, though I sadly missed my size.

I’m also having a moment with shirt dresses lately, though most of the ones I love are short, and I simply don’t feel comfortable wearing short dresses. I wish these styles came in longer versions… This one specifically is dreamy!
