Jewelry storage and organization

I like to display some of my jewelry, while storing the more delicate pieces, especially the vintage ones, in pretty jewelry boxes (lined with fabric/velvet preferably ), that I keep on my nightstand and/or dresser.

As far as displaying jewelry, I like to keep it in glass boxes (see more options below), or a jewelry stand where I can see it. The items I wear daily, like my rings and earrings, I usually place in a trinket dish (this one is also very pretty, and this one is adorable); I keep those in convenient places, by the kitchen and bathroom sinks, as well as on my nightstand.

If I plan to wear certain jewelry for an occasion or outfit, I place it in a small trinket dish or a jewelry tray the day before so I don’t have to frantically raid my jewelry box when getting ready - how many times did you end up with a tangled mess or even broke a necklace or a pair of earrings when in a rush? I know I have *sad face*.

When traveling, I like to use jewelry rolls like this one or this one to keep them organized and safe.
