Fun spring and summer earrings
I know that summer is not here yet, but it sure feels like it is on and off temperature-wise. And though my feelings for summers in Florida are complicated, I definitely like dressing for them (it’s why we’ve been living in warm climates only for over a decade now).
On another note, I cleaned up some of my jewelry today (I use this solution + the delicate; please follow the instructions and use it for the appropriate jewelry so you don’t ruin it), and that activity inspired this updated post.
When it comes to jewelry and accessories, it’s no news that I’m a big earrings lover, and I consider them a fashion staple for every woman. While, for whatever reason, I rarely think about wearing a necklace, I must always put on a pair of earrings before going out the door. On the rare occasions when I forget to do that, I feel weirdly exposed, naked… Does that make sense?
While earrings are not required, they sure complete the “missing something” part, or, add extra oomph (statement earrings can do that) to any look. It helps that there is an incredible selection of different styles at different price points. With so many of them out there, it really is hard to choose!
Staying true to my style, I wanted to share earrings that are feminine and delicate, yet fun for the summer, and even beyond that, to bring some cheer into your every day. I’m a big proponent of using colorful things to lift the mood (especially on dark days like the ones in winter), and adding a colorful piece of jewelry like earrings, can absolutely do that. I especially recommend adding fun colorful earrings to an all-neutral outfit — they instantly stand out and make things more interesting.
The pieces I’m sharing below are affordable — most under $100, while many are under $50. I, of course, love pearl earrings the most these days, though the other styles are just as pretty and fun enough to wear for all your adventures this summer.
