Lemon print for summer
Since learning about Italy’s Amalfi Coast, I fell in love with lemon prints, and well, lemons, in general. Seeing the beautiful tiles and pottery (another weakness of mine) with lemons painted on them, and photos of these fruits as a symbol of Positano, I couldn’t help but want to add them as a print in my wardrobe. After all, lemons make us all think of summer.
It might also be Florida and its tropical/subtropical climate, but recently I have been drawn to bold and colorful prints. So it was of no surprise that when I found several items in lemon print, I immediately wanted them.
There is also something like too-much of a thing, so I decided to go for one item only in this pattern, and after some deliberation, I chose the kaftan dress I’m wearing in these photos. I went for it because I wanted something a bit over-sized, that I can throw on and go about my day, while still being comfortable and looking feminine.
I went for my usual size “small”, and after finally receiving it almost a month later, I was shocked to see how large this dress is (for me, it runs like a large), though I have to say that the removable belt definitely helps with the look of it.
While this kaftan dress has sold out, restocked, and now is available in limited sizes, there are several items in the same print or different prints/colorways. Of course, if the items sell out, you can always get notified by email when they are restocked.

What patterns do you find yourself attracted to during summer?
Until next time.
