While the blue and white dress I shared previously took me back and forth in my decision to purchase (not because I didn’t love it), I didn’t think that hard about this one — it sealed the deal for both of them! And yes, it was the blue and white floral print that immediately drew me to it. And upon further “inspection”, I knew I had to have it.
It’s one of those flattering and comfortable dresses that will get me through spring and summer. Plus, it instantly helps me look put together, and gets me plenty of compliments and glances when wearing it.
As far as ways to wear, it doesn’t take much to style it, as I love to allow the dress to do the talking with minimal accessories.
For this look, I decided to go with my beloved pearl earrings, vintage J.Crew bangle bracelets (scored at a local market), these kitten mule slides that have really grown on me (they required breaking in), a summery bag I’ve had for years and years, and of course, the oversized sunglasses I can’t stop wearing.
However, you can definitely wear a sweater over your shoulders on chilly days for an effortlessly chic look, or with a cardigan or a cool linen blazer to the office.
The best part is that it can definitely be dressed up with heels or heeled sandals for various occasions, or dressed down with strappy or slide sandals, or even sneakers. If you’re into the mesh ballet flats trend, this dress will look adorable with these embellished ones.
As far as sizing, this dress fits true to size, and the cotton fabric is stretchy. It has pockets and a flattering silhouette, and is only $35! Hard to beat this price!
