H&M dresses to live in this spring and summer

Hi friends! I hope you are well and enjoyed a nice weekend. Ours was a hot one (summer has arrived in Florida), so we stayed home, with no plans. I ended up baking breadsticks, focaccia, and a pineapple cake on Saturday, and organized our entire pantry, every cabinet, and drawer in our kitchen on Sunday. So you can say that this past weekend was a productive one over here.

Oh, I also watched the Pride and Prejudice 1995 BBC series via Hulu (Colin Firth, anyone?), and I really liked it - it was a nice and much-needed break from everything going on, so if you also need a break, check it out (that is if you haven’t seen it already).

We’re also watching Younger via Hulu. This show is a bit of a hit and miss for us, though it provides mindless entertainment, which, again is needed these days.

And since I mentioned that summer arrived in Florida over the weekend (it’s been a few days that we’ve had temperatures over 90F), we’re starting to look for relief from the heat. I shared in this post options for making the heat more bearable, and since my personal preference is a dress, I wanted to share more cute ones I found at the increasingly popular H&M. Because… one thing you can always count on with H&M is that you will find something to love there - I know I do!

These dresses are all airy, which makes them perfect for wearing on those warm spring and summer days. The good news is that most of these are made of cotton and/or linen (my fabrics of choice for hot weather), and are lightweight, hence provide comfort. Heck, you will live in these dresses this spring and summer as they are chic enough to wear for almost any occasion, and require little effort for creating an outfit - wear them with sandals (I like these ones and these wedge mules) or espadrilles (I like these and these), a hat if you like, sunglasses, and you’re ready to go.
