It's eyelet season

Summer is fully settled here in Florida, though we have been immensely lucky so far with low-humidity days, and we've been enjoying them as much as we can before the rainy season. With that, I’ve been able to wear dresses that I had bought prior to the pandemic starting and didn’t get a chance to wear until now. It’s been nice to wear something a bit different than the go-to dresses I kept reaching for time and time again (though I love having such pieces, and I can’t recommend enough choosing clothes that you can put on at a moment’s notice, and still feel like your outfit was thoughtfully planned).

This brings me to eyelet, the perfect choice for spring and summer. Undeniably feminine, it elevates any look and adds a touch of elegance and even playfulness, depending on style. What I really like about eyelets is that they come in all shapes and forms, hence making them versatile, always different, and never boring. They can be worn for just about any occasion from being out and about to spring and summer weddings, baby showers, lunch with friends - you name it.

I certainly find it difficult to resist a good piece featuring eyelets, and that was the case with the dress I’m wearing in these photos - I instantly fell for it (while my husband commented that I already have something like this… well, he’s not wrong :D). But seriously, how can one not fall for eyelets?
