Feminine dresses and tops under $100
I’ve said it before but I’ve truly never been big on trends as, generally, I wear what I like. With that said, the trending styles I’ve been seeing these past two years have made me really happy. Smocked everything, tiered tops, voluminous dresses, poufy/puffy sleeves - I absolutely love all of them, and honestly, I wish they were here to stay. In my eyes, such pieces and silhouettes are the epitome of feminine style, and, if you haven’t noticed already, that’s just what I’m about.
As far as where this inspiration came from - no doubt about it, the cottagecore aesthetic seen all over Instagram has influenced these fashion trends big time, and people are here for it. This can only be confirmed by the wild success of the nap dress which keeps going in and out of stock every week. It just makes me really happy to see that so many are embracing dresses as their go-to outfits, especially during the sweltering summer days; as a self-proclaimed dress addict, seeing the love around them brings me a lot of joy.
I know most, myself included, are looking forward to the cooler fall days, though, realistically, summer will still be with us a little longer, especially here in Florida; my summer clothes are going nowhere anytime soon, if ever. You won’t find me complaining though - layers just aren’t my thing, or I wouldn’t be living here otherwise.
Living in Florida means that I’m always on the lookout for cute tops and dresses to add to my closet, and the sales these days are making my searches ever-so-enticing.
