Flowy, breezy summer dresses
Well, I just wanted to open this post with this candid photo hubby captured in a moment when I almost lost my balance... really, I’m not posing here, but we both thought that it made for a nice picture nonetheless (or, he sure had a good laugh at it).
Dresses have taken quite the turn in terms of style these last few years, and I’m embracing it. Normally, I’m not a fan of dresses, or clothes in general, that can be associated with potato sacks, but when I saw this one, I just couldn’t help myself. It was actually sold out when I first saw it, but monitoring it (I’m pretty much at my computer all day, so that makes it easy), I caught it in my size just in time. I think someone returned it and that’s when I snatched it (hey, your loss is my gain or whichever way you want to look at it). The bottom line is that I really love this dress because of the fact that it’s so “breezy”! Even though my husband hates it, but who cares *laughing emoji* - I rub it in his face every time I receive a compliment (I have gotten several while wearing it).
On a serious note though, I live in breezy dresses pretty much year-round, with the exception of the handful of cold days we might get in the winter.
While we’re pretty set on our schedule, many times we spontaneously decide to either go for a walk, a store, or whatnot, and being able to get ready in 5 minutes or less is important to me. Throwing on a dress does it for me, and because of the heat in Florida, breezy is my go-to.
If you’re also a fan of flowy, breezy dresses, check these ones I linked below. If you’re interested in this particular dress, it’s available in one size only on the brand’s website, and several sizes in red, though at full price, currently.
Until next time.
xoxo,
Em
