About my love for Sarah Flint shoes (or anything the brand does), I have written plenty here on the blog and on my Instagram. For full disclosure, I work with the brand and have opted for a continued partnership because I believe in it. I’m proud to support a company with sustainability, diversity, and inclusion values. Plus, it is a company founded by a woman that creates for women. This introduction was written in case you haven’t heard about Sarah Flint before (definitely check out this post for more information).
Now, on to the star of this post — the Sarah Flint shoe I can’t have enough of!
I can’t quite explain my love affair with Sarah Flint’s Natalie sling shoes. It might be because they’re just comfortable, or because of the adorable asymmetrical bow on top, a feminine detail that I always appreciate.
But I think that what I truly love about the Natalie sling, is that it goes with everything, and while it’s definitely fun, it also is the perfect shoe for every day. I have walked miles and miles in these shoes, and they have been my go-to lately… Granted, the same can be said about the original Natalie flats made instantly famous by Meghan Markle, but I digress…

When the time came for me to choose my next pair of Sarah Flint shoes, it took me months to decide… I kept going back and forth about choosing something else, because yes, my first choice was another pair of the Natalie sling in a different color.
I kept telling myself that I needed a really great pair of pumps. I firmly believe that every woman should have at least one of those. And even though I was thinking of going for pumps with a kitten heel, I also kept asking myself if I would truly wear them as much. Truth be told, I’m more of an espadrilles and well, “everyday” kind of shoes girl; I prefer practical, yet pretty shoes — I really don’t wear pumps that much, so I allowed my heart to choose. And my heart chose… The Natalie sling… again! However, we did get “dressier” in our choice this time and went for gold, literally. The pump’s turn will come… someday.
FIT NOTES: these shoes run TTS, however, if you have wide feet, I recommend sizing up. They do require a bit of breaking in — I recommend wearing them around your house with some thick socks prior to wearing them out. A noteworthy detail: they have 360 padding for added comfort. Another thing I love about them is that they stay put, something that is not always the case with other slingbacks. The leather outsole has a rubber forepart to prevent slipping.
So, I now own the Natalie slings in petal calf and gold saffiano, and who knows what’s next… The ones in the petal calf have been worn numerous times and have held great so far.
I will caution you though since they have a pointy toe shape, it is easy to scratch the tips, so be careful when you walk, specifically on uneven paths. As I just got the ones in gold saffiano, I have only worn them for these photos so far — they have the same comfortable feel as my other ones and I’m sure I’ll get to enjoy them just as much.
