5 things that bring me joy this week
Check the entire “5 things that bring me joy this week” weekly series here, a collection of seemingly insignificant things that serve as a reminder to appreciate the little things — those small joys that make a difference in our day-to-day.
These last two weeks have been something, though, in all honesty, this past weekend was a full and fun one — I’m already very much looking forward to the upcoming one. Not that we currently have any plans, but I’m sure we’ll come up with something by then. I don’t have much else to report other than that my head is up in the clouds right now and I’m just trying to stay on top of things as much as possible. I hope your week is a little less hectic.
Now, let’s move on to the 5 things bringing me joy this week:
Resident Alien. Are you over hearing me talk about the greatest show on Earth yet? We’re finishing the 3rd season, and I’m trying not to think of the very near end, and just allow the joy from it to pulse through me… If you’re looking for lightweight stuff to watch, I got you covered with this list of some of my favorite shows!
magnolia season. Yep, they’re blooming below our windows, so you know that they, along with their perfume bring me a lot of joy!
tzatziki sauce (homemade, of course!). I make it with this yogurt which I think is divine (and has zero sugar added!). We enjoy the sauce over fresh tomatoes, over rice, in Buddha bowls, with pitta bread as a snack, etc. It’s delicious. As far as a recipe, I don’t really follow any, but here’s an easy one if you want to make it.
my new daisy plant! I’ve been wanting a daisy plant forever, but I was either forgetting to look for one or wasn’t finding it when I actually did. Until this past weekend when I spotted a bunch of them at Lowe’s, and of course, brought one home. It’s bringing me so much joy! Daisies are such cheerful flowers, don’t you think? In case you’re wondering, it’s chilling outside — they’re not indoor plants unless you have full sun in your place.
this viral Target dress being back in stock! It’s a really good one (read my notes on it/review here) and I hope you love it, too!
What’s bringing YOU joy this week?
xo,
Em
