5 things that bring me joy this week
You can check out the entire “5 things that bring me joy this week” weekly series here. It’s a collection of seemingly insignificant things that remind us to appreciate the little things—those small joys that make a difference in our daily lives.
Well, this is not my favorite week, thanks to daylight saving time — I can’t be the only one feeling tired and unsettled, right? And I’m definitely not a fan of waking up in the dark.
On the upside, catching the sunrises is pretty cool, and of course, more daylight in the afternoon sure feels welcome.
As usual, I’m leaning into various things for pockets of joy; here’s what’s on the list this week:
lovely weather. You know me — nice weather truly brings me joy! Even if it is incredibly short, spring in Florida is a delight.
my first orchid of the season blooming! I have at least ten orchids, and all of them have buds. I can’t describe the immense joy this brings me, but if you also love orchids, you surely understand! Especially as the first one (a delicate white) is about to bloom any day. I can’t wait!
getting our steps in. It helps disconnect from the mundane and connect with each other and/or nature.
this shirt dress. As a timeless and chic piece, it truly does bring joy (and I really love the color)!
this eyelet midi skirt! I love the style and the length, and the fact that it has pockets! I had to add it to my wishlist, and I think it would look great with the matching cropped shirt for spring and the cropped cami for summer. Matching sets aren’t going anywhere just yet!
What’s bringing YOU joy this week?
