A bag that stands out
In case there were any doubts, I’m in my bag era… as in, I keep finding and buying really nice bags, in my opinion. Because, again, it’s not the brand that matters to me…
Case in point with this bag I found during one of my “just browsing” sessions on Amazon. It caught my eye immediately, and after a little thinking, I purchased it. And yes, I am glad I did.
After a short debate, I chose the brown color. Generally speaking, I don’t like branding/logos, and black at the time was still a no for me… I only overcame my “fear” of wearing black this year and, this bag was a last year’s purchase (it was just restocked).
Apart from the hardware decorations, I like the light-gold sides and handle/strap. It’s a somewhat surprising color combo, but I think it’s a good one. Because of those details, I like to wear it with my gold Sarah Flint Natalie slings (code SF-EM-15 will save you 15% on your order of $230 or more).
The double decorative stitching makes it stand out even more. Truly, the details are simple, yet exquisite and this bag is the perfect size for me.
It fits all my necessities when out, and then some, so it’s roomy. I don’t consider it a work bag though — it’s too small to fit a laptop, but it can fit a mini iPad (or maybe even a regular-sized one — I don’t have one to tell). It also fits a book if you like to have one on hand.
To sum it up, this bag is gorgeous and feels special to me. Maybe because I wore it during some special times, but also because I really, really love it.
So far, it’s been wearing great. I am careful with my stuff, but I wouldn’t say I am obsessively so, and this bag still looks new! That’s quality.
