5 things that bring me joy this week

Here’s to another week where I am dragging my feet, and I’m unsure why.

We had a fun weekend, even if we didn’t do much at all, other than spoiling Enzo (and us in the process) for his birthday. I’ll keep it short this week as I’m excited to dive into this book I started, and frankly, am unsure of so far. I’m hoping it picks up soon, because it has potential.

With that said, here are 5 things that bring me joy this week:

unexpectedly cool weather. My mood is very much impacted by the weather, so when we got cooler temperatures this week, of course it made me happy. You might be wishing for warm weather… I was wishing for the opposite as I saw the forecast of around 90s for last week. And yes, it appears that I got my wish, even if just for a day or two... 😊
two new perfumes on their way to me. Okay, I’m being cautiously joyous about them since I’m not sure I will love them. They are a first-time purchase, and a blind one at that, so we shall see. I am excited though…
finally getting my hands on this dress I’ve had on my [secret] wish list for months. I have a type for sure. Note: This dress fits TTS, so I don’t understand the reviews…
washing my hair with this shampoo after working out. First, the smell is like a spa experience; second — the cooling effect is the best thing in the world after feeling overheated from a workout. And third — it’s just the season (aka, the refreshing combo is perfection for the hot weather).
my small super lightweight vacuum that is perfect for quick cleanups and for smaller areas and corners where a bigger vacuum can’t reach. Don’t let the size fool you — it’s mighty (but note that it’s not a vacuum made for carpet, especially medium to high pile, and it won’t give you a deep clean on those). It really is about the little things, ha-ha!
