Fall/winter Wishlist and Labor Day weekend sales

You can say that I’ve been with my head up in the clouds because it was only this week, that I realized Labor Day is this Monday… There’s been a lot going on, and the holidays just haven’t been on my radar yet. So much so that the sales emails and banners have taken me by surprise…
It’s no secret that I love a good sale and generally, I’m not a fan of paying full price… Labor Day weekend is the perfect time to refresh my wardrobe and get ready for the changing seasons, though, in all honesty, I’m still shopping for summer and warm weather items the most.
Hence, it should come as no surprise that last winter, when we experienced a shock with some unexpectedly very cold [for Florida] weather, I found myself shivering and with limited options in my closet when it comes to warm clothes.
I’ve since made sure to add sweaters to my cart, among other things, to have them for those kinds of days. Easy because I do love sweaters, even if I prefer to not have to wear them.
I love an oversized sweater for casual wear like running errands, and this one fits the description just right. At only $25, it’s a steal, however, I would recommend going down a size. Funnily enough, it is with warm clothes that I go fairly neutral, as I like to have a colorful scarf do the “talking” and be the star of the outfit.
With the soon-to-be changing seasons, I do have a fall/winter wishlist with beautiful items that I can’t wait to get my hands on sooner or later… see it below.
From that list, I’m in love with this tweed jacket (which also comes in navy) as it’s beyond gorgeous and to no surprise, a best seller. So is this cardigan sweater as it would look chic with just about anything. Also on the list are this, this, and this Dalia MacPhee sweater dress — I’m such a fan of her dresses!
Currently, I’m having a moment with slingbacks (as seen here), and I’m still dreaming of these Sarah Flint Natalie sling flats (I want them in every color!).
