Sundresses under $50
Yellow is a color I’ve been staying away from, thinking that it just doesn’t work on me. However, when I came across this dress I wasn’t sure I could pass it - the price was too good, the fabric was what I prefer, and the style was right up my alley. It took me a while to decide on it though, just because of the color - yellow can be a tricky color… So I thought until I tried the dress on. It instantly brightened my face, and that marked the end of my internal debate.
I’ve worn this dress (also linked below) several times already, and I find it extremely comfortable. Yes, even in Florida’s humidity. If you love it as much as I do, and are considering it, know that if you are in-between sizes, or, have a large chest, I’d recommend going up in size as the bodice is fitted, aka, it can be tight in the chest. The dress is lined with cotton, smocked in the back, pretty light overall due to the linen-blend fabric, flowy, and it’s just adorable. The only thing lacking for me is that it doesn’t have pockets.
Since we’re officially in sundress season, I’ve rounded up summer dresses under $50 in various styles - many of them come in several colors, so I hope you find something you like.
In case you’re wondering, these photos were taken at the War Veterans' Memorial Park in Saint Petersburg, which features an equatorial sundial (it was cloudy when we were there so it didn’t work), and an actual tank, among other monuments. The park is by the water (though it doesn’t really have a beach), and has several picnic pavilions to enjoy; check their page for more info in case you’re interested in visiting.
Mules are old, similar here, here, here, here, and I also love these ones.
Until next time.
xoxo,
Em
