5 things that bring me joy this week
Check the entire “5 things that bring me joy this week” weekly series here, a collection of seemingly insignificant things that serve as a reminder to appreciate the little things — those small joys that make a difference in our day-to-day.
I can’t pinpoint the reason, but I am riding the struggle bus this week. And that means I’m counting down the days until the weekend, which is already accounted for anyway…
We’re planning on watching the Superbowl on Sunday, not because I enjoy watching football (or any sport, for that matter) or even the commercials at this point. But I am excited for the halftime show, I have to admit. Will you be watching?
Here’s what’s bringing me joy this week:
curling up with a good book in the evening. Is there a greater joy?
gorgeous weather. We have some chilly days here and there, but we’ve mostly had perfect weather recently. It’s bringing me so much joy!
spending the weekend outside. We planned to spend time outdoors this past Saturday as Sunday was forecasted as a downpour. We’ve had the rain, but only in the morning, so we got to spend Sunday outside as well, and that was an unexpected joy. Especially as we had the chance to explore a new place!
this adorable dress! I know I’m jumping way ahead, but it would be great for Easter, spring, and summer. Just saying.
organizing a self-pamper day in the middle of the week. It was spur of the moment, but I decided to go all out after my workout and do a deep conditioning treatment for my hair, a vitamin C treatment for my face, and a whole-body exfoliation. It’s all about that self-care “vow” for 2024.
