Dresses to wear this Christmas
Is it serendipity when you go to a store looking for specific items for your kitten only to come out with two new dresses? Well, it depends on how you look at it but you know me… When I saw this dress, I knew I had found the one I’ll be wearing this Christmas. I love its print and style, of course, those being the reasons why I bought it even if it’s by no brand in particular — I love a unique (I hope) find.
If you’ve been following me and my blog for a while, you know that the brand is not necessarily a determining factor whether I purchase something or not — for me, it’s always about the style, quality, and if I like something or not. However, if that’s your thing, by all means, do what makes you happy!
As far as the rest of my outfit, I’ve had the gold flower earrings for a while, and as they’re no longer available, I’m linking similar ones here, here, here, and here. The necklace is vintage. My shoes are eco-friendly and you can shop them here (use code 15em for 15% off). And yes, I’m wearing the same sunglasses I bought years ago from Target, because they go with everything I have, and because I love a retro cat eye. These from Amazon are basically identical.
I’ve found a long-sleeve version of my dress here, however, I can’t vouch for sizing or even quality — all I know is that the one I’m wearing runs small — I found it in “L”, and turns out that it fits (and no, it’s not just because I’ve put on weight these last few months).
For the dress I’m wearing, the fabric is scarf-like — airy and breathable, and it seems to be durable. I found this dress however to be of the same style, in a different print/colorway.
Since we’re marching towards Christmas now, I thought of sharing some options to wear if you want to dress up. I particularly love this gown (surprise Christmas or non-traditional winter wedding?), but there are other several dresses I equally love like this velvet halter dress, this plaid fit and flare dress, and of course, this Dalia MacPhee embossed velvet dress which is perfect to wear year-round, if you will. I hope you find “the one” linked below.
