Flowy dresses that stand out
It’s no secret that I adore flowy dresses. The more fabric in the skirt, the better for me. Bring on the drama!
I’m extremely happy this trend seems to have taken off in recent years, and the flowy (read: voluminous) dresses are popping everywhere. Sure, some skeptics straight-on hate the trend, judging by the reviews on these items (that’s okay — we can all love different things), but in my true nature, I’m going to wear and do the things that bring me joy.
It started with finding this dress years ago (still one of my most-loved and treasured), and it went on with various others. The most recent “dramatic” dress find being this stunning piece that I couldn’t resist getting in two colors.
But wait, it gets better…
Obviously, I constantly browse for items, for myself, and for you. And I come across a lot of pieces I fall for (no wonder my wish list is this long and only getting longer).
That was the case with this dress I immediately added to my secret wishlist — yup, there’s one of those, too. Flowy, aka, dramatic skirt? Check! Linen blend? Check! POCKETS?! Check! What more could I have wished for?
I kept my eye on it for literally months until it went on sale, and I decided it was time to buy it (sizes are selling out).
As mentioned, based on reviews, people love or hate this dress. I’m in the former category, obviously.
If you’re interested in it, note that I find it to be true to size. Going by the reviews, I initially chose the medium size, and it was clearly too big for me, so I stuck with my usual size — small.
It’s partially lined, true maxi length, and brings all the drama! It comes in white, army green, and navy. This dress is perfect for many occasions, including wearing it as a wedding guest (just don’t wear the white one to a wedding unless you are the bride 😉).
Here are more flowy dresses I’m loving (and coveting):
Outfit details: Dress; Shoes; Sunglasses; Bag; Pearl and chinoiserie beads necklace sold out (similar here and here); simple pearl earrings.
