One dress, three outfits
It’s always a good thing when you can maximize your closet by being able to wear a piece multiple ways, many times completely changing the way it looks, or even the occasion it’s meant to be worn for.
While there are many items that can achieve that, I, true to my style, wanted to focus on a dress, and show you 3 ways it can be styled for different occasions from more formal to casual, and from day to night.
After some scouring, I decided to go with this dress that is under $30 and seems to be a favorite among many. I focused on a solid color rather than a print since the latter may be restricting in terms of styling or matching options. These looks are, of course, created with the summer season in mind, though they would be great for spring as well as early fall.
I hope you like the looks I put together.
Dress // Sweater Blazer // Pearl Necklace // Pearl earrings // Reversible tote (other colors available) // Pumps
This look is perfect for workplaces or a bit more formal settings. Covered toes heels, a sweater that looks like a blazer, contemporary pearls (because they will never go out of style), and a reversible tote to complement the outfit.
Dress // Earrings // Sandals // Bucket bag // Cuff bracelet
This outfit is made for fun nights out (or even days, why not?). Stand out with a pair of statement earrings, a cuff bracelet, gold sandals, and the “it” bag - the bucket bag. Of course, if you prefer, you can also add a belt for a more defined waist. I prefer the look without it for a fairly minimalistic, yet impactful styling.
Dress // Straw hat // Pearl hoop earrings // Straw bag // Sandals
This look is created for casual days, spent either at a farmers market, a stroll around town, or even at the beach. A fedora hat, cute raffia sandals, a straw bag, and some fun accessories like these hoop earrings embellished with pearls, look casual, yet elegant, and not at all boring. Also, you can add a belt (I like this one as well), if you want to accessorize more.
Do you have a favorite look?
Until next time.
xoxo,
Em
