This pleated dress with pockets from Target is a dream
And it’s only $28(regularly $40) this week as Target Circle Week takes place through 04/13. And you know that as soon as the sale hit, I also bought this dress in white.
We already know I adore this silhouette and think it suits me the best. So, when I wore it, and especially after seeing these photos, all my doubts about a white dress vanished… Most likely, it won’t be a dress I will wear a lot, but nonetheless, I wanted it. And I plan on having it forever.
Anyway…
I am pleasantly surprised about the quality, the big pockets, and the fit. For the record, I find that it runs true to size. However, if you have a larger chest, I recommend sizing up. The fabric is heavier, so you don’t have to worry about it being see-through. I’ll update you on that once I receive the dress in white. Update: the white dress is see-through, but nothing that these can’t handle. Also, it’s more of a creamy white, if that helps.
As the khaki is already sold out (hopefully, it gets restocked), it’s safe to say that the other colors will sell out sooner rather than later, so I wouldn’t wait. This makes me wonder… will this be Target’s next viral dress?
As far as styling, I decided to replace the removable belt it comes with. The metal details are silver, and I realized I didn’t have a bag that would match. As you can tell, I don’t like to mix metals. Coordinate — yes, mix — not really.
